Apricot Zinfandel Sauce
1 68 oz. Container FruitBlendz Apricot Fruit Sauce
1 Qrt Water
2 12-oz. Bottle White Zinfandel Wine
2 Lbs. Sugar
1 Whole Lemon (juice of)
2 oz. Cornstarch
6 oz. Water
Mix apricot sauce, water, wine, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Dissolve cornstarch and water. Add to apricot mixture. Bring back to a boil, and stir until thickened and smooth. Can be served hot or cold.
Sauce can be used for cakes, cheesecakes, or ice cream. This is also a good sauce for cold poached chicken breasts.
